Dearest Mum,

Yesterday was 大 伯 dead anniversary..Trust you guys had a good gathering up in heaven. Time flies..Tomorrow is 拜天公 again and I really missed the days when you will wake us up to wash face and 拜 天 公 . Without you fussing around things, the festive season is so dull.

One more week to Chinese New Year and I missed all the preparation that you used to fuss about. I can only remember you with all the Red Packets you gave me over the years. Yes..they are all intact.

How are you Mum? Lots happened since you left...I lost a kidney, sister had rectum cancer and most recently, my right ear went deaf. Thankfully we all recovered.

More happening...Irene is expecting her 2nd child. You must return to check on all the families when you are free....

The pulling power of Mum/Granny is still as strong as ever. Only Mum/Granny can get everyone together.

Last evening's encounter was interesting and revealed many sides of things. I agree with Mum that we should move on with life and live well. If we all still remember mum/granny's words -"It is my wish that the family stay together and treat each other with RESPECT", then she will be happy.

Life is full of uncertainty and challenges. But no one owes us a living. We owe it to ourselves to live well even in the most challenging circumstances. I can feel Mum's words when I held her hand. The feel of warmess is still there..
