19 April 2008

Took granny for a car ride on Saturday and to this amazing place in Sembawang call The Bottle Tree Village. There are many such places in Singapore and I encourage all of you to take time off from work and home to enjoy some of Singapore's beautiful nature.
The Bottle Tree Village in Sembawang occupies the former Sembawang Sea Sports Centre and is now home to 4 of these Bottle Trees, also known as Brachychiton Rupestris which are native to south-west Queensland in Australia.
